Recently, the first batch of summer internship partner program between Huayun Tongda and the School of Science and Technology at the University of Macau has been successfully completed. Four junior students majoring in Civil Engineering from the School of Science and Technology at the University of Macau have successfully completed a one and a half month summer practical internship at Huayun Tongda. During the internship, students delved into the R&D department and various operational teams of Huayun Tongda, fully understanding its industrial layout and innovative integration development strategy. They felt Huayun Tongda's strong scientific and technological innovation capabilities and high emphasis on cultivating top-notch innovative talents.

The purpose of this summer internship program is to create a platform for innovation, practice, and development exchange between Guangdong and Macao schools, and further deepen cooperation between schools and enterprises and the integration of industry and education in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. The summer internship program consolidates and deepens students' understanding of road engineering theory through organizing mentors to teach, combining industry knowledge learning, on-site project practice, laboratory practice, and other methods in enterprise practice, and inspires them to think deeply about future career choices and development plans.

Lin Hantao   Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau, majoring in Civil Engineering

I am very happy to participate in this summer internship. Huayun Tongda has provided us with a wealth of learning resources, industry exchanges, and project practice opportunities. Our mentors and senior colleagues in the company have also provided us with detailed guidance and assistance from life, study, and practice. Through comprehensive learning, I have gained a deeper understanding of Huayun Tongda's technological leadership in advanced materials such as high toughness and ultra-thin asphalt wear layers, and have gained a deeper understanding of Huayun Tongda's future strategic positioning and industrial layout. This journey made me feel the importance that Huayun Tongda attaches to talent training, and also the corporate responsibility that Huayun Tongda has always linked its own development with the national "rural revitalization", "the Belt and Road" strategy and urban road construction.

For me, the one and a half month summer practice was the process of understanding how Huayun Express achieved integration into Huayun Tongda. The senior staff of the company provided careful guidance and care, provided a good internship environment, and offered valuable suggestions for our future career development. I not only appreciate the charm of Huayun Tongda, but also constantly improve myself through rich practical arrangements. The curriculum of the Civil Engineering program at the University of Australia covers multiple directions, including structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, environmental engineering, transportation, water resources, and urban disaster prevention. The subject system is extensive and the content is complex. Through this period of practice, I have gained a deeper understanding of the road technology industry and developed a strong interest in the field of road material technology that Huayun Tongda focuses on. In the future, I hope to have the opportunity to join Huayun Tongda and contribute to road engineering construction.

Participating in this summer internship program is an unforgettable experience for me. In the employment exchange, we had the opportunity to have face-to-face communication with the person in charge and senior colleagues of Huayun Tongda, to gain a deeper understanding of the future development direction of Huayun Tongda and receive valuable personal development suggestions. Through the study of industry professional knowledge such as "Development Direction and Technical Thinking of Ultra Thin Wear Layer" and "Technical Specification for Highway Asphalt Pavement Construction", comprehensively understand the industry's technological development direction and the standards and requirements related to asphalt pavement construction technology. At the same time, by participating in road disease detection work on site, the practical ability of the project has been enhanced, and the understanding of road engineering knowledge has been deepened. I am also participating in experiments related to asphalt performance testing, accumulating experimental operation skills and data analysis abilities. After this internship, I have gained a clearer direction for my future planning. In the future, I hope to continue my academic studies in the field of road engineering. Huayun Tongda is a leading enterprise in the field of road material technology and one of my target companies for future employment and development in the Greater Bay Area. I am very much looking forward to actively participating in the high-quality development of road construction in the future, relying on the comprehensive infrastructure construction and superior scientific and technological innovation environment in the Greater Bay Area.

Huayun Tongda adheres to the corporate culture of "professionalism, innovation, dedication, and responsibility", providing us with a first-class internship environment, including systematic training courses, project practice, and experimental operation opportunities. Among them, the brand new asphalt material laboratory of Huayun Tongda left a deep impression on me. The laboratory is clean and orderly, with a reasonable layout, providing a good research and experimental environment and safety guarantee for laboratory personnel. At the same time, the laboratory is equipped with multiple advanced high-precision detection devices, greatly improving the accuracy and reliability of experimental data. Here, I am fortunate to participate in and learn from research and testing experiments related to asphalt materials, in order to better understand the properties and related indicators of asphalt materials, while constantly stimulating my desire for scientific research and innovation. During my one and a half month internship, I gained a deeper understanding of theoretical knowledge related to road engineering through practical experience. I will cherish this unforgettable experience and integrate what I have learned and felt into my future development path.

Huayun Tongda has always attached great importance to talent cultivation and integration of industry, academia, and research in collaboration with universities in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao. Previously, under the guidance of South China University of Technology, Huayun Tongda actively participated in various Guangdong Hong Kong Macao youth talent exchange activities such as the "Star of the Future" training camp in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area. Through close exchanges and learning, it promoted young talents to broaden their horizons, enrich their experiences, and develop and improve. Recently, we have collaborated with South China University of Technology to establish an advanced asphalt material laboratory, promoting the deepening and implementation of scientific research, teaching, and innovative practices for talents in the field of road technology in universities. At the same time, Huayun Tongda continues to recruit talented individuals from universities around the world, especially in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, to supplement high-level talent for building an international leading technology enterprise in science and technology innovation and industry leadership.

Looking towards the future, Huayun Tongda will fully leverage the leading role of technology innovation enterprises in the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, strengthen cooperation and exchanges with more high-level universities, especially those in Hong Kong and Macao, establish a long-term school enterprise cooperation mechanism, and create a world-class advanced asphalt material experiment
